Happy Easter

It's Thursday! The end of the week (woo hoo). Tomorrow is Good Friday and hubby is off work. We will be colouring Easter eggs and hopefully having a nice, quiet, family filled day at home. I hope all of you have a wonderful Easter with your family. I will be off enjoying my family and will see you all back here again on Tuesday.

Here is the Easter card we made at card class on Monday evening. I hope everyone enjoyed it, I just love these cute little bunnies!

Stampin' Supplies
Stamps: Ears to You, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Pretty in Pink, Bashful Blue, Lovely Lilac
Paper: Whisper White, Bashful Blue
Accessories: Simply Scored, Paper Piercing Essentials, Paper Piece Tool, Labels Framelits, Pretty in Pink ribbon (retired)

Bunnies!! :) Seriously adorable, I think it's one of my favourite Easter stamps yet! Get it while you can, it's one of the single stamps available for a limited time only!

Oh, and of course, I cannot leave you without sharing some Easter photos of my cutie with some bunnies. All I have to say is those poor, poor bunnies. They didn't know what hit them when Gabe came into the room. I was pulling bunny fur out of his fingers hours later. Needless to say, he had a great time though, the bunnies, I'm not sure.

Oh Hello Thank-You

I apologize for my lack of posts in the last couple weeks. I have a little guy who has been teething and needless to say no one has been getting much sleep around here. However, we had another successful card class on Monday evening, here is one of the cards we made.

Tonight is a meeting with my upline and her team, something I always look forward too. Little man and his dad are going to have some quality time together and mommy gets a night out (woo hoo)! I hope you all have a wonderful day, I am off to cuddle my little man!

Introducing This & That

Your life is: Awesome. Quirky. Exciting. Perfectly messy. And happening really fast. So Stampin' Up! is happy to introduce our newest product line that lets you capture it all on-the-go. This and That will debut in the 2013-2014 annual catalog, but Stampin' Up! is giving you and everybody else the chance to get it now.
The best thing about This and That is it becomes something beautiful and different for everyone! Once you see the many ways it can be used, it's perfect for the young, and young at heart.  Reasons you should order This & That:
  • It's so versatile! Leaving the hairdresser? Tuck your next appointment card right in with some washi tape. Having a girls' day at lunch and the movies? Statsh the tickets right there and jave each friend write her favourite part of the day. The possibilies are endless, and the goal is perfect imperfection.
  • It would make a wonderful gift! If you purchase the This and That products and specify to me in your order that it is a gift, I will gift wrap it (free of charge) for you!
  • This and That is great when you use all the products together, but each product is great on it's own too! The Designer Series Paper and stamps are great for Scrapbooks, cards, or your next Pinterest creation!
  • A trip to San Francisco! That's right, with the debut of This and That Stampin' Up! is running a Facebook Contest for a Trip for Two to Sunny San Francisco! Check out my Facebook Page for the link to enter!
Right now Stampin' Up! has introduced give products, but they will be adding more This and That stuff as time goes on, so stayed tuned! You can purchase the This and That Bundle at a 15% discount only until April 30th. These products will all be available in May and in the new catalogue but you will not be able to purchase the bundle at a discount.

Check out this flyer to see all the awesome products. Did you see the washi tape? So excited! I freaking love washi tape (may have a minor obsession with it) and so I am so excited to see Stampin' Up! now offering some!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

I know, I know, St. Patrick's day isn't until Sunday, but I plan on celebrating in style this weekend and thought I would share this card with you today in case I never got around to it on the weekend.

Tonight my hubby and I are attending a Concert at Paddyfest in Listowel, which if you are local, you know what I mean, considering most of the entire town is there. If you aren't local, well you should know that Listowel is home to North America's largest Irish festival; Paddyfest. Lots fun, lots of green, lots of celebrating.

Onto the card! I did up this little cutie using the Owl Punch. So fun.

 Stampin' Supplies
Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Lucky Limeade
Paper: Summer Smooches DSP, Garden Green, Whisper White, Lucky Limeade, Basic Black, Chocolate Chip, Crumb Cake, Tangerine Tango
Accessories: Owl Punch, Small heart punch, bird punch (stem of leaf for stem of shamrock), labels framelits, lucky limeade ribbon (sale-a-bration last year), modern label punch

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed today's card and celebrate St. Patrick's Day in style! Have fun and be safe!

Papaya Collage

Happy Hump Day Friends! I can smell spring just around the corner! And I. CAN'T. WAIT. I think Gabe is pretty excited too, he's not exactly fond of his snow suit and I am not exactly fond of putting him in it every time we walk out the door.

I am so excited to get to the park and get him on the swings! I think he will love it! Last summer he was just itty bitty and then the snow came, so he has never been on swings.

Today's card uses the stamp set "Papaya Collage". I bought this set when it first came out because I loved it and I couldn't wait to use it...and then I used it once or twice maybe and just sorta forgot about it. Oops. So I found it again and my goal is to USE IT! So here ya go!

Stampin' Supplies
Stamps: Papaya Collage
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Paper: Very Vanilla
Accessories: Honeycomb Embossing Folder, Pearls, Chocolate Chip Satin Ribbon (retired, check out the clearance rack), flower trim

I stamped the frame first and then ran it through the big shot to emboss it with the honeycomb folder. I then laid it on my craft mat and used a craft knife to cut out the inside.

To get the light look of the leaves in the background I stamped off on scrap paper twice before stamping on the card.

Happy Stamping,

Happy Birthday Mom!

Today is my Momma's Birthday! I won't share how old she is, but I will say she doesn't look a day over 30! I love my mom so much. She is my role model, my best friend, and the hardest working, friendliest, most genuine person I know!

On Sunday we had the family over for supper and birthday cake and of course presents too! My mom is an avid reader and loves books, we got her the new Kobo Mini for her Birthday and loaded it full of some good reads. I hope she enjoys it!

This is the birthday card I made for my mom. I like the delicately feminine look it has, I think she did too.

Stampin' Supplies
Stamps: Oh hello, Petite Pairs
Ink: So Saffron, Chocolate Chip, Calypso Coral, Lucky Limeade
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Tea for Two DSP
Accessories: Delicate Details Lace Tape, Ovals Collection Framelits Die, Tea Lace Paper Doilies, 5/8" Flower Trim

For the flower I coloured just the stem of the flower from the "Oh, Hello" set in Lucky Limeade and then stamped it. I then cut one flower off the trim and rubbed it in the Calypso Coral ink pad and stuck it on top of the stem.

I am really enjoying using the Flower Trim, it's so versitlle. You can use the flowers individually if you cut them apart, or use them together as the trim it comes as. And colour it too like I showed above. So much fun.

It's a dreary day here, but at least things are starting to melt. I am going to take advantage of the rain and nap time and try to get some much needed stamping done. There are a lot of big events coming up in my loved ones' lives and I gotta get my stamp on!

Happy Stamping,
Elizabeth Emma

8 Months Old

I guess I am a bit delayed with this post...but in my defense, I was confused as to when Gabe actually turned 8 months. He was born on June 30th, but since there was no 3th in February, it threw me off. Anyways here is the update!

At 8 months old Gabe is:
  • 15 lbs 1oz and 27 3/4 inches long (tall and skinny! He must get that from my dad and brother because neither myself or Cody is overly tall)
  • trying so hard to crawl! He gets on his hands and knees and rocks back and forth, but then falls to his tummy, looks like he is swimming and freaks out. But we are getting there.
  • Loving standing! Whether it's holding onto someone's hands or onto a piece of furniture he cannot get enough of it. I am seriously worried we may skip crawling altogether.000
  • Eating like a champ. He eats 3 "meals" now in addition to about 4 nursing sessions a day. He is great at finger foods and picking things up (he would rather feed himself than have someone feed him). Some of his favourites are yogurt melts, bananas, chicken, and pasta.
  • Sleeping much better (thank-you sweet baby Jesus, I am starting to feel human again). He naps for about 1-1.5 hours in the morning and afternoon and sleeps 11-12 hours at night!
  • still toothless! I constantly think he is working on them, but nothing yet. Daddy adorningly calls him toothless Joe
  • Friends with everyone, rarely, if ever makes strange and totally freaks out and gets giddy when he sees other kids! It's so adorable. So social, I love it!
  • still looking like an old man with his crazy hair. It is long and thin and so so blonde! I never thought I would have a blonde baby, but I love it! His hair is in his eyes a lot, but I don't want to cut it because it is so thin I feel like he would have none left.
Just practicing our standing, giving mom a heart attack, no big deal

This is what happens when mom gives up and just decides to let him have the bowl. Wow. The neatfreak in me is screaming, the mom in me is giggling hardcore.

I love my little monster so much! Words cannot express how amazing these last 8 months have been. I also cannot believe it has been 8 months. The time really does fly. I am back to work in June and trying to enjoy every moment I have with my little man in the meantime.

I promise I will be back with more craftiness tomorrow!

Butterfly Birthday

This is the last card I have to share from our Birthday Emergency class. I love the dainty, girlish look it has! Don't know what I am going to do when the Tea for Two DSP is no longer available. But I will worry about that when the time comes. I still don't know how I am going to say goodbye to the Pool Party Ink when it is no longer available!

Anyways, I am getting off track! I am here to share this beautiful card with you!

Happy Monday, Friends! This is one of the cards we made at our most recent "Birthday Emergency Class". I thought it was a pretty good one that could be given to either a guy or a gal, with it's nice bright colours, so it is today's entry for "Masculine Monday".

Photopoly..Huh?

Photopolymer stamps are completely clear stamps and Stampin' Up! is excited to announce they are now offering these stamps on a trail basis along with their already existing wood-mount and clear-mount lines. The top-quality photopolymer creates a perfectly stamped image every time and pairs wonderfully with the new firm-foam pads! Photopolymer stamps will also be unique, fun designs that will inspire you and provide more versatile options you may not see in the traditional wood- and clear-mount stamp options.

What makes them so great?
  • They're entirely transparent for perfect placement every time!
  • They are durable. The photopolymer material is designed to last.
  • Can you say sticky? (Don't worry; in a good way.) These stamps stick amazingly well to our clear blocks.
  • They're age tested. They won't yellow or cloud up over time.
  • They use FDA, food-safe material. How far can you stretch your stamping creativity?
  • We could go on, but we'll let you try them for yourself.
They are clearly a great choice.

The Photopolymer stamps are being offered on a trail basis and if they prove popular Stampin' Up! will keep the photopolymer sets coming! If you want to see more, buy them now! Also if you really like a set, buy it now because there is no guarantee that it will be available tomorrow. You can start purchasing this set TODAY, March 1st! All the photopolymer will be packaged in a cello bag with insert, but you can also store them in the clear cases.

Check out this cute video from the Stampin' Up! home office that explains (or tires to explain) what Photopolymer is!
