About Me

When I read a blog I like to get to know the writer. Especially if it is a Blog I read often. Part of my 2013 New Years Resolutions and Goals was to be more attentive to my blog. I want to offer more tutorials, and more posts. I am giving it a head start and starting with an updated "About Me" section.

If you ever have any questions or there is something about me you would like to know, please, don't hesitate to ask.

First and foremost I am a wife and mother (wife to Cody, mommy to Gabriel). I love my family and they are my life. Everything I do revolves around them!

I love that I now have the opportunity to share what I love with everyone around me. I had pondered for a long time about becoming a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and I am so glad I made this choice. I get to show everyone around how much fun paper crafting and stamping can really be!

1. Where are you from?
I am from a small town in Southern Ontario. Close to Kitchener/Waterloo. Born and raised.

2. Why did you start a blog?
I decided to start a blog when I became a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. I love following other Stampin' Up! Blogs (along with crafting, organization, healthy living, hair and makeup, etc, etc). I learn a lot, I love the ideas, and the tutorials are wonderful. I wanted to be able to offer this same wonderfulness to my clients, customers, and friends.

3. What made you decide to become a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator?
I became a Demonstrator in February 2011. My mom and I were having a workshop at her home because I was ready to make my wedding invitations and I wanted to get a discount on some great products and I thought a workshop was the best way to do it. My Upline, Carolyn, is a wonderful woman. She mentioned to me after the workshop that she saw me helping some of the other women and declaring my love for all of Stampin' Up!'s great products and she thought I would be a good addition to Stampin' Up! family. At first I signed up just for the discounts but it has evolved so much from there. I am so glad I made the choice to become a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.

4. Where do you get your craftiness from?
I would have to say my mom and my Aunt Brigitte (my mom's sister). They started out scrapbooking and really got me into it. I attended my first Stampin' Up! workshop in my mom's dining room and we made a winter page layout, I was probably 12 or 13 at the time. My mom is also a Florist and owned a Floral and Gift Shop and her creativity never ceases to amaze me!

I love that I now have the opportunity to share what I love with everyone around me. I had pondered for a long time about becoming a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and I am so glad I made this choice. I get to show everyone around how much fun paper crafting and stamping can really be!
