Christmas Coasters

Recently I discovered how easy (and fun) it is to make tile coasters using Stampin' Up!'s beautiful designer series paper! I found a tutorial on one of my fellow demonstrator's blogs. And because they were so easy to make, and Stampin' Up! has so many different and beautiful designer series papers, I whipped up a whole bunch for my Holiday Craft Fairs and Shopping Nights.

These were some of my favourite. I just love this paper and think it is so cute! I made a few batches of these for myself of course (I will share more later). I packaged them up with a bow, and they all have felt feet on the bottom so they won't scratch your table. I sold them for $10 per set (4 coasters in each set) and still have a few left if you are looking for a last minute gift idea for anyone.

Aren't they darling?! I love the little owls!

Paper: Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango, Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper
Accessories: Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch, Summer Smooches Fabric Designer Brads, Seam Binding Ribbon (daffodil delight), Modern Label Punch, Simply Scored, and Simply Scored Diagonal Plate

Making these cute little things could not be simpler! Mary Fish from Stampin' Pretty has an awesome tutorial to make these on her blog, make sure you check it out!

More Craft Fair Goodies :)

Aren't these things just darling? Do you have any guesses as to what they are? They are my favourite thing to make right now, super simple, super cute, and something everyone would love to receive as a little gift I am sure. Maybe this next picture will bring you closer...

Taaa Daaa! It's a gift card holder! Perfect isn't it? I just love it. Although I have already said that and this may be overkill haha. Anyways I got the idea from Kerry at Kerry's Paper Crafts who is a creative genius and full of wonderful ideas! Again the genius behind this project is the simplicity.

Supplies
Card stock
Designer Series Paper
Designer Ribbon
Brads
Your choice of embellishments
Your choice of stamp sets

Instructions1. Using Stampin' Up!'s Top Note Die (#113463) and your Big Shot (#113439) cut out 2 top notes from card stock and 1 top note from designer series paper.
2. Cut one of the card stock top notes in half length wise.
3. Trim around the perforated edge of the designer series paper top note.
4. Adhere the designer series paper to the card stock top note.
5. Adhere the half piece of card stock to the backside of the other piece of card stock being careful to only put adhesive along the edges so you can still slide in your gift card when you are finished.
6. Punch a hole in the corner of your gift card holder using Stampin' Up!'s Crop-A-Dile (#108362)
7. Add a brad again using Stampin' Up!'s Crop-A-Dile
8. Add a piece of Stampin' Up! Designer Ribbon and tie into a loop.
9. Add any embellishments/stamps of your choice.
10. Add a gift card and present to someone you love :)

This is just one of the many things you can do with the Top Note Die. It is so versatile. You can also fold it in half and use it to close the top of a cellophane gift bag. I have also used it on my altered composition notebooks as title/name plate. The choices are limitless. Contact me today if you would like to purchase a Top Note Die. Don't have a big shot yet? Invest in one! It will be the best decision you ever make.

Consider hosting a workshop in your home and inviting your friends over for a night of paper crafting and stamping and you could earn your big shot for half price! Ask me how.

Hope you all have a wonderful day, and Happy Stamping.

Altered Notebooks

So a little while ago I made a few of these cute notebooks up! They are fairly simple to make and they also turn out so pretty. I also made each notebook with a matching personalized pen!

This Designer Series paper is "Bontanical Gazette". It was out of the Occasions Mini Catalogue.

This notebook is made using "Green House Gala" Designer Series Paper. This paper is retired now but it is originally from the 2010-2011 Idea Book and Catalogue.

This notebook is made using "Springtime Vintage" Designer Series Paper, originally from the Occasions Mini.

Thanks for taking and look!

Happy Stamping

Bookmarks

So I had my creative juices at work again, it honestly amazes me how I have time for anything un-wedding related right now. But I think after making over 100 wedding invites (although they are absolutely gorgeous and I am in love with them) I need a change of pace every once and awhile, so I was working on these super cute giant paper clip bookmarks. What do you think. I will post some more pictures later on this week if I get a chance.

This was my "Brights" collection of bookmarks, I used Melon Mambo (cardstock-119930, ink-115656) and Daffodil Delight (cardstock-119688, ink-119667) cardstock and ink. I used Designer Series Paper from the Sale-a-bration catalogue, which I am sad to say is now over :(. The stamp sets I used for these ones were: "I {Heart} "(clear mount-118571), "Funky Four" (clear mount-120438), "Punch Bunch" fromt the Sale-a-bration catalogue, and "Always" (113620)
These are my "Spring Themed" bookmarks. I used "Springtime Vintage" DSP (121782) from the Occasions Mini Catalogue. The stamps I used were: "Bliss" and "Punch Bunch" from the sale-a-bration catalogue, and "For All You Do" (115360).
For the dog/cat themed ones I used the stamp set "D is for Dog" (115784).

Thanks for looking, I hope all is well with everyone out there. I might be MIA for awhile, this wedding is taking over my life!! We have our Stag and Doe on Friday of this week! I was really nervous about it, but our wedding party has really stepped up, so I am excited to see all our family and friends and have a good time! I will let you know the success of it on my next post!

And keep your eyes out for my wedding invitation post, it's coming!!

Happy Stamping!

Post-It Note Holders

These little post-it note holders are so adorable! I can't take credit for the idea though, I got the idea from Carla Brasher "The Southern Stamper" http://www.thesouthernstamper.blogspot.com/!! But they are just so adorable I couldn't resist trying them out for myself, and they turned out wonderful!!

Matching Pen!!

Well I think it's time for me to get ready for bed! I have a big weekend ahead of me! I am getting together will all the girls in my wedding party and we are putting together my wedding invites tomorrow! I have cut everything out (for the most part, have some to finish in th morning) and basically we are going to tie/glue everything together, address envelopes, have some wine and cheese and hopefully lots of giggles and laughs!!
Happy Stampin'!
