Shoebox Swap

Recently with my upline and sideline during our meetings we have taken to doing shoebox swaps instead of just one make and take. This is so much fun because you get to go home with a bunch of pretty new cards and ideas, and we get to chat business, family, and life while doing it!

Now, what is a shoebox swap you might ask? Simple. Everyone that is attending is in charge of making one sample card. You then cut up and prepare enough so that everyone who is attending came make one of card card, and you put all the supplies into a shoebox (or any box will do). The cards must be fairly simple and quick to assemble. Anything that requires cutting out or embossing with the big shot must be done ahead of time.

I absolutely love this idea though! We just had a meeting on Wednesday night and made a bunch of beautiful cards featuring items from the Holiday Catalogue. I am going to share a few cards from the swap we did in June though first (yes I am a little behind, but forgive me, I had a baby, hehe).

Stamps: Baby Prints
Ink:  Pretty in Pink
Paper: Pretty in Pink, Mambo Melon DSP, Whisper White
Accessories: Labels Framelis, Fancy Fan Embossing Folder

And of course because we like the inside of our cards to look pretty too, here's a snapshot of the inside.

Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Stamping,
Elizabeth Emma
