Love You ...

Hi everyone. Today I am sharing a card we made at a recent get together at my upline's place, just before Valentine's Day. I just think it's so cute, I love all the colours in the new designer series paper you can get during sale-a-bration.

Stamp Sets: P.S. I Love You
Ink: Riding hood Red
Paper: Lucky Limeade, Calypso Coral, Pool Party, Whisper White, Sale-a-Bration DSP
Accessories: Framelits Dies (hearts), Heart Punch, Sale-a-Bration Brads and Ribbon, Edgelits Die, Polka Dot Embossing Folder

Hope you enjoy it. I am patiently waiting for the nice UPS man to come with my latest bunch of Stampin' Up! Goodies to see if I can't get a little craft time in before my night shift starts at 7. I have learned a valuable lesson during this pregnancy though...do not trade craft time for nap time, no matter how bad you want to...you NEED nap time !!

Thinking of You...

On Thursday night I hosted my Girls' Night In and it turned out great. The weather cooperated and there was lots of lovely ladies who made it out. We sipped on some tea and wine, did a little shopping for some new purses, jewelry, and accessories, and of course made a couple make-and-takes.

This is one of the cards we made on Thursday night, the other one was a Valentine's Day Card I shared with you a little while ago. I really like how the colour combination turned out on this one.

Ink: Pool Party, Certainly Celery
Paper: Pool Party, Certainly Celery, Whisper White
Stamps: Delicate Doilies,
Accessories: Triple Layer Punch, New Edgelits Die, Basic Rhinestones

Hope you enjoyed this card, now I am off to enjoy this rare Saturday off with my hubby and the fur baby. Possibly doing some stroller shopping for the little one! Have a great weekend everyone.

Another Valentine's Day Card ..

I just love Valentine's. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that my mom is a florist, so Valentine's so always busy for us, but so much fun! Here's another Valentine I made that I CASEd from someone online (I apologize I can't remember the name, but if it's yours feel free to take credit).

I like all the layering in this card. Also there is the typical pink of Valentine's day, but it's paired with blue for something different.

Stamp Sets: P.S. I Love You
Paper: Melon Mambo, Pacific Point, Blushing Bride, Whisper White, and Crumb Cake, Designer Series Paper in Pacific Point
Ink: Pacific Point and Melon Mambo
Accessories: Polka Dot Embossing Folder, Fashionable Hearts Embosslits Die, Full Heart Punch, 3/4" Scallop Circle Punch, Eyelet Border Punch, 1" Circle Punch, Basic Rhinestones

I hope you enjoyed it. I am off now to finish preparing for our Girls' Night Open House! I'm really looking forward to it, I hope it's a good time. We'll be making cards, drinking tea, and shopping through some awesome girly accessories! I'll let you all know how it goes.

More Valentine's Day Love

I'm back with some more Valentine's Day Love! This was just a small quick 3x3 card I made, based on some of the colour scheme out of the new mini.
Again I like how the colours are a bit different on this one and not quite your typical "Valentine" colours.

Stamp Sets: P.S. I Love You
Paper: Whisper White, Pool Party
Ink: Blushing Bride
Accessories: Dazzling Details (Cherry Cobbler), Baker's Twine (Pool Party)

Now I am off to Church to make some cards with "Seniors for Excellence". These lovely people are feeding me lunch and then we are going to have some fun making a couple simple cards. I will post them after we are done.

Happy Stamping,

Some Valentine's Day Love

So here I am, hoping to start 2012 off the right way! I have made a list of goals and I am going to need your help to stick to them (check out up coming blog entries for my list of goals). One of these goals is to update my blog more often for my small but faithful group of followers. So instead of boring you with a list of goals, etc and nothing creative I thought I would start off and show you  a Valentine I made the other day!

I took a cue from the Occasions Mini in the colour scheme. I used a bunch of awesome new items from the mini as well!

Stamps: P.S. I Love You
Paper: Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Blushing Bride, Pool Party, Certainly Celery
Ink: Riding Hood Red
Accessories: Riding Hood Red Pleated Ribbon, Decorative Label Punch, Fashionable Hearts Embosslits Die, Adorning Accents Embossing Folder

Hope you enjoy it, thanks for stopping by to take a look! I just love this card! I know I am biased but I think it's the colours mostly. It's a Valentine's Day Card but without using a bunch of pinks and reds.

I am hoping to have more posts for you this week so stayed tuned! I've been busy busy making Valentine's.

If you're looking for something to keep you busy during this chilly weather check out my events page for my upcoming classes and other fun things!

Happy Stamping
