We had a wonderful card class tonight! Thanks to everyone who came out! And those of you who couldn't make it, we missed you and hope you can make it next time. This is one of the cards we made at our "Birthday Emergency" Class this evening. Some of the ladies worried it would be too complicated but they made it through and their cards looked great!

Stamps: Sent with Love, Pretty Pairs
Ink: Island Indigo, Calypso Coral
Paper: Sent with Love DSP, Whisper White, Pool Party, Real Red
Accessories: Postage Stamp Punch, Corner Rounder Punch, Circle Punch, Small Heart Punch, Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon

I am totally loving the new Sent with Love Bundle! It's so cute and the colours look great together! The paper will be great for not only cards but scrapbooks about your travels. Contact me today to find out how to order yours.

Off to watch the Duck Dynasty Premiere (yup I just admitted that).

Birthday Emergency Class

Hi All! I hope you all had a wonderful day! I had fun with a trip to Costco and Homesense with my mom and my favourite little guy! It was only my second time being in Costco but I am getting less overwhelmed I think (key is not to go on the weekend, duh)!

Homesense as always is a dangerous place! I found a few cute things though (who am I kidding I always find cute things). And for some reason or another I am now on a new kick to paint my Kitchen cabinets. They are plain white and were painted before we moved in and they are starting to chip, etc. Friends of ours are redoing their main level and it's made me get in the spirit. I am thinking painted cupboards and a backsplash, as well as a healthy does of chalkboard paint on our basement door. We'll see haha.

Anyways onto more paper crafting things! Here is a photo of the cards we will be making at my upcoming "Birthday Emergency Class". I use different sets from the Spring Catalogue and Sale-a-Bration as well as the new "Sent with Love" set!

I will post more about these cards after class. If you are local and interested in taking the class I still have 4 spots left! Let me know by Tuesday. The cost is $15, check out my events page for more information!

Happy 30th Kelly

This weekend was filled with Birthdays! Not only did Madeline turn 4, but our neighbour and friend, Kelly, turned 30! Her husband was very busy and planned her a surprise party. It was lots of fun and I think she had a great time!

This is the card I made for her:

Stampin' Supplies
Stamps: Memorable Moments, Oh, Hello
Ink: So Saffron, Basic Grey
Paper: Basic Grey, Whisper White, Bashful Blue, Tea for Two DSP
Accessories: Honeycomb Embossing Folder, Oval Framelits, Petite Butterfly Punch, Doily, Basic Rhinestone

Of course leaving the house at the last minute I forgot it (sorry about that Kelly) but thankfully she lives next door so I can drop it off! Gabe and I are heading out now to do just that! Happy Wednesday everyone!

Happy 4th Birthday Madeline

My favourite niece turned 4 on Sunday! I can't believe it! I still remember the day she was born. Of course we celebrated with a princess party (what other way is there to celebrate really). We had chocolate cake and lots of presents. It was so much fun!

I made her this card, it wasn't my best work, but I think she liked it. Although being 4 she of course was much more interested in what was in the boxes than what the cards looked like, but I still think she liked the card!

Stampin' Supplies
Stamps: Memorable Moments, Happiest Birthday Wishes (retired)
Ink: Tangerine Tango
Paper: Whisper White, Tangerine Tango, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Real Red, Basic Black, Pacific Point, Retired DSP
Accessories: Pennant Punch, Tangerine Tango Ribbon (SAB), Modern Label Punch, Scallop Circle Punch

Gabe and I are busy watching Ellen, this is his reaction to the dancing! Haha, just loving life over here.

I am hoping the roads get a bit nicer because I am supposed to be off to a card class at my Upline, Carolyn's, house! It looks like we will be making beautiful cards too so I don't want to miss a thing. Carolyn has just started blogging about her Stampin' Up! adventures. She does beautiful work and is a huge support system to me. Check out her blog, The Virtual Verandah to see some of her work! Leave a comment so she knows you stopped by.

One Last Valentine Post

Okay, so I know Valentine's Day is over but I have one last card to share with you (well let's be honest, I am sure there will be lots more because I am so in love with the hearts a flutter bundle and More Amore Specialty DSP, but this is it for now)!

Gabriel and I helped my mom yesterday at her flower shop and it went fairly well I must say. No melt downs and he was flirting with all the ladies! Hubby spoiled me and got me a mani/pedi! So excited to use it! I have only ever had one pedicure in my life (I was 8.5 months pregnant and could no longer reach my toes) and I've never had a manicure, so bring it on! I hope your sweetheart got you something special!

This is another masculine card and since Valentine's Day is over for this year, you could even use it for an Anniversary!

Stampin' Supplies
Stamps: Hearts a Flutter, Itty Bitty Banners
Ink: Real Red, Basic Black
Paper: More Amore Specialty DSP, Real Red, Basic Black, Whisper White, Silver Glimmer Paper
Accessories: Hearts a Flutter Framelits, Itty Bitty Banners Framelits, Postage Stamp Punch, Smooch Spritz

I'm a sucker for some sparkle!

Happy Stamping,

Masculine Monday Valentine

Wow! I skipped a few days! Sorry ladies and gents I was busy loving on my little boy! I go back to work in a little over 4 months (insert sobbing meltdown here) and I am trying to get all the cuddles and loving in while I can!

I know it's not Monday, but since I missed blogging on Monday I thought I would share a Masucline card with you today. And keeping true to my past post, it is a Valentine's Card! This is the Valentine I made for my hubby!

Stampin' Supplies
Stamps: Hearts a Flutter, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Versamark, Cherry Cobbler

Accessories: Chevron Embossing Folder, Black Emossing Powder, Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding Ribbon, Oval Framelits, Itty Bitty Banners Framelits, Essentials Paper Piercing Pack

I love that the black embossing powder gives the card a little something extra (without being too feminine). Thanks for stopping by! I hope you are all ready for the Big Day tomorrow! Lots of Love!

Valetine's Love

Today is normally supposed to be our masculine Monday...and don't worry I am not giving up, I am taking a little break and until Valentine's Day will be featuring a Valentine's card each day on my blog to get you ready for your loves!

This is what I came up with for today's post! I am in love with the More Amore DSP and Hearts a Flutter bundle! They just make the perfect cards for Vday and compliment each other nicely.

Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps: Hearts a Futter, Itty Bitty Banners
Ink: Primrose Petals
Paper: More Amore DSP, Primrose Petals, Pool Party, Whisper White
Accessories: Hearts a Flutter Framelits, White Baker's Twine, Vintage Faceted Buttons, Itty Bitty Banners Framelits, Smooch Spritz

To get the splattered look on the background I used the Smooch Spritz in real red, it's hard to tell from the picture but it's got a really nice shimmery shine to it! I cut the large scalloped heart from the Hearts a Flutter Framelits from scrap paper and put it on the white, while I spritzed around it. Voila!

I forgot I had that stuff, I am going to have to bust it out more often! Hope you enjoyed today's VDay card, thanks for stopping by!

7 Months

Warning! I am about to overload you with cuteness that is not necessarily stamping related...but I don't care! My little cutie is 7 months old! I shed a little tear as I write this. My baby boy is 7 months old! I can hardly believe it (okay I think I write that every month, but it is so true)!

At 7 Months Old Gabriel:
  • Not sure of height and weight, our doctor's appointment got postponed
  • is sitting up on his own and totally rocking it
  • has mastered (finlly) most of the time being able to move from sitting up to his tummy without smashing his face off the floor (mommy and baby are both happy about this)
  • when sitting up and reaching for something practically folds himself in half and rocks back and forth to get it, Wednesday he actually was on all 4s rocking back and forth!
  • is smiling and giggling all the time! Such a happy boy
  • is still working on sleeping through the night, but we will get there eventually (I hope) *Edit*we've had 3 nights in a row of sleeping until 7:30 am (woo hoo)
  • is eating lots of things! Fruits and veggies and cereal! He loves baby mum-mums and banana in his mesh feeder!
  • still has no teeth even though he drools like crazy, chews on everything, and has rosey red cheeks all the time!

Here are the photos from Gabriel's 6 month shoot! I was going to pick and choose which ones to share but I just love them all so I couldn't pick. So you get them all!

Love that smile!

Of course we had to get a fire truck one!

Gabriel's newborn photos were taken on the same suitcases, except he was tiny and lying on top

His inquisitive face

Oh! Just love him!!

Photo credit goes to Photogenics Studio in Listowel. They are absolutely amazing and so great to work with! If you are local I highly suggest you contact them! They have taken all of Gabe's photos and did our engagement and wedding.

Thanks for letting me share my cutie with you! Happy Friday! I promise I will be back next week with more stamping. Have a safe and happy weekend!

Happy Stamping,
Elizabeth Emma
