Summer Smooches

The card I have to share with you today comes from my most recent Upline Meeting. One of my "sidelines" Kayla designed it for us all to make! I love the banners! And I think she did a great job of really showcasing a bunch of the Summer Smooches Suite.

I just love the meetings I have with my Upline! The people I have met through her have been terrific. Carolyn is always full of fun and creative ideas. She is always there when I need a question answered or a problem solved! I don't think I would be as far as I am in my business today if it weren't for her!

Stampin' Up! is a wonderful business to get involved in if you are looking for a company that will support you! I get support not only from my Upline but also from Demonstrator Support and the Stampin' Up! company itself.

If you want more information on the business of Stampin' Up! or becoming a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, please don't hesitate to contact me. I would love to share with you why I love Stampin' Up! so much and all the great benefits it could have for you and your family too.

Onto today's card ...

Wings Galore

I am totally in love with the card I have to share with you today. It was also another great idea I found on the wonderful world of pinterest ! And as beautiful as it is, let me tell you, I don't know that I'd be making very many of them!

It was a lot of work, whew! Each of those darling butterflies was a separate little run through the Big Shot. Yup, that's 14 trips through the Big Shot. I also love the nice diagonal lines I created with the Diagonal Plate for the Simply Scored. That part was pretty quick and easy.

Please enjoy!

Stamp Sets: Elementary Elegance (SAB)
Ink: Crumb Cake
Paper: Pool Party, Whisper White
Accessories: Beautiful Wings Embosslit Die, Whisper White Satin Ribbon, Eyelet Punch, Simply Scored and Diagonal Plate

Birthday Wishes In Colour

So it's been almost a year with the 2011-2013 "In Colours" and I still can't get enough of them! They are just so bright and cheery and compliment each other so nicely. Another thing I can't get enough of (a little late now unfortunately) is the Sweet Shop Designer Series Paper.

It's great paper and although I ordered it when it first came out, I just started using it before the mini finished, meaning it is now retired *sniff sniff*. The reason I didn't get into using it until the last little while is because I have a bad habit of hoarding saving my Designer Series Paper. Now I've gotta try and use it all up so I can make room for all the new beautiful paper in the 2012-2013 catalogue.

And how do I know it's beautiful you ask? Well I got a demonstrator's sneak peak at the new catalogue today! And let you tell you, awesome, great new things are coming our way! I was really worried when the retiring stamp and accessories lists came out (I always am). I was thinking they were letting go of some great stuff, but let me tell you it was all to make room for even better stuff!

I placed my sneak peak demonstrator order today and hope to be sharing new projects with you shortly, as soon as my favourite man in brown arrives (that'd be the UPS man). You can all start counting down the days, you get to view the catalogue on June 1st!

Now without further delay, I will share my card with you! I hope you all like it! I am off to get ready for my Valentine's Day present (yes delayed but sooo worth it)!! Hubby is taking me to see Johnny Reid! Yay! So pumped! I'll let you all know how it goes and hope to share some pictures with you too!

Stamp Sets: Happiest Birthday Wishes (hostess)
Ink: Pool Party
Paper: Wisteria Wonder, Pool Party, Whisper White, Sweet Shop DSP
Accessories: Pool Party Ruffled Ribbon

Sweet Shop ..

Here's a sweet and simple card I made recently using the Sweet Shop DSP out of the Occasions Mini. This is another paper I am sad to see go (I say that a lot don't I?). I am always sad when Designer Series Paper retires, it is always so pretty. But again I know the new catalogue will be full of wonderful things.

Although it's sad to see some of these products go, we must all remember that it's for good reason...to make room for new ones! So in order to celebrate the new stamp sets and say goodbye to the old ones, I am having a couple of class.

May 22nd join myself and some friends my "Time to Say Goodbye" Class. The cost is $15 and we will be making 3 cards, all using retiring stamp sets! Here is a sneak peak of one of the cards we will be making.

For more information or to sign up for a class, visit my facebook page or events tab on my website. As always, feel free to contact me with questions.

Pinwheel Card

I don't know about you, but I still absolutely love the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series paper from Sale-a-Bration and I can't seem to let go. I like the colours and the worn out look it has. It may possibly be my favourite paper ever (yes I know talk to me in a couple weeks and I'll have changed my mind again).

This card was a little fiddly to make, but I do really like the way it turned out. I didn't know what I wanted to use it for yet so I haven't stamped a sentiment on it. But if I do it will go down there in the bottom right hand corner.

Ink: None
Paper: Calypso Coral, Pool Party, Everyday Enchantment DSP
Accessories: Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch, Square Punches, Basic Rhinestones, Everyday Enchantment Ribbon and Brad
